Introducing: The Initiation Private Retreat
I was 20 years old when I knew.
This was my soul's calling, my heart's mission.
All the ways I found myself, found my healing, reconnected to my body, my spirit, my voice, my inner child...I knew I wanted to do anything and everything I could to create something to help share that magick with others.
That was over a decade ago now, and hardly a day has passed where I haven't thought about that dream and how to bring it to life.
As often is the case, when we're on our way to realizing our dreams, we are forced to take detours. We have to pause, give ourselves grace in the hard moments, and we must allow the vision to evolve.
As the years of my life unfolded, that dream has continued to shift and change, and evolve. It felt like a fresh pot of coffee bubbling, bubbling, but still needing more time to percolate. Trust me, I had plenty of moments of impatience and frustration along the way. There were many tears, and many moments of contemplating whether the dream was too big, whether it was worth it, whether I should just abandon it altogether.
Then, last September, I stepped onto the land of what would eventually become our home, and I felt it. In a single instant, the dream crystallized. And the visions that had once only lived in my head sprang to life before my eyes. I could see it coming to life, I could hear the joy and the laughter, and I could feel the magick and the transformation. The Initiation Private Retreat had arrived.
Immediately, I envisioned it: spending the day together, steeped in sacred ceremony, immersed in Mother Nature, nourished by fresh local, homemade foods, and held together in the magick of creation. An even deeper version of my signature Initiation Ceremony session. A private retreat experience, an entire day, fully devoted to you, to filling your cup, and holding you in your magick, exactly as you are.
This is so much more than a photoshoot. This is so much more than a day at the spa. This is so much deeper than a movement class or workshop.
It's a day fully devoted to you. A space for you to take off your masks, to drop the bullshit, to let yourself surrender and be fully held. It's an opportunity to let your inner wild woman and artist come to life, while we create breathtaking, transformative art to celebrate the ways life is Initiating you in this season. It's a chance to remember who you truly are.
You deserve to be held this way, to be celebrated this way, to be seen this way. And I know you are ready.
Your day begins with a sacred opening ceremony. We move into a personalized somatic movement journey where I guide you through an experience of true embodiment, to remind you that anything is possible.
You'll have integration time, where you can decide to explore the land or journal on one of the quartz-covered rocks, or maybe lounge in a shady spot in a hammock amongst the trees.
We top it all off with two hours of uninterrupted, unrestricted time to create photo and video art together. I can already see us dancing around the property, playing in the golden light as the sun starts to set.
And we end the day with a closing ceremony to seal it all in and honor the beautiful, wild, messy magick that just unfolded.
Throughout it all, I'll provide local and homemade snacks, beverages, and meals, to nourish and support you throughout the day. Think fresh, colorful salads, delicious smoothies, soothing tonics, and elixirs, fresh spring water, and grounding, vegetable-centered dishes, all designed for you. Whenever possible, every effort will be made to source organic, local, and seasonally fresh ingredients.
The most incredible part is that it's no longer an idea, a feeling, or a far-off dream. This is the deeply healing, transformative, powerful experience I've been dreaming of being able to offer for over a decade. It is real, come to life, and waiting for you.
This private retreat experience is unlike anything I have ever offered because it's a culmination and accumulation of my entire journey as a leader, a teacher, a photographer, and human healing from a lifetime of trauma: holding space for you for a full day while we create, play, move, and dance in nature, all in service of your magick and your healing. Wow. I can think of no higher honor, friend.
