We’ll get through this together

In these chaotic times, I don’t have any more answers than anyone else 🔎

And that’s okay

We don’t have to have all of the answers, especially not right now

And I know that can feel scary and overwhelming

And that’s okay, too 🧸

It’s important in the whirlwind to remember to hold yourself first

To come back to the breath in your lungs, your beating heart, your body
Right here, right now

You don’t have to shine for anyone else in this moment ✨

You don’t have to do anything but yourself first

Because, I promise, when you do that: you become a light for others 🕯

And caring for yourself…putting yourself first, can look like whatever you need minute-to-minute

It can mean closing your computer, putting your phone away and turning off the wi-fi 📴

It can mean having a friend on FaceTime while you both silently work or wash dishes

It can mean binge-watching movies and tv shows 📺

It can mean finally updating your website or portfolio

It can mean creating that thing that you’ve been wanting to create for years 🎨

It can mean learning something new or starting that hobby you’ve been curious about

It can mean naps all day and dance parties all night 👯‍♀️

It can mean anything you want it to mean and anything you *need* right now

We’re in tricky times right now, that’s for sure 🌀

There is no rule book or road map for how to navigate this collective uncertainty

But I know that if we lean into ourselves and come together in community (even if it’s digitally, for now)

We’ll get through this, together

One day at a time 💛
