Last year, I had the honor of joining my dear friend and longtime client, Kacy Harnedy, on Bowen Island to document her retreat, Finding the Sweet Spot. Set at the serene and soul-nourishing Nectar Yoga, this experience was a nervous system reset wrapped in Pacific Northwest beauty.

A Retreat Rooted in Nature, Joy, and Nervous System Healing
Imagine being surrounded by towering trees and salty air, waking up to the sound of birds and barefoot walks through mossy forest paths. That’s what it feels like to land at Nectar Yoga on Bowen Island.
The energy of the week was spacious and restorative: equal parts grounding and playful. One of the most unforgettable moments? A spontaneous night swim, where nine grown adults splashed in the water under the stars, giggling like kids while being lit up by bioluminescence. ✨
These are the kinds of moments that become core memories: soul-filling, unscripted, and so deeply real.
