The Vision: Embodied Wellness Meets Cinematic Storytelling
From our very first conversation, it was clear: this wasn’t going to be a typical brand shoot.
Soul Revival isn’t just a place to stretch and sweat: it’s a sanctuary for self-connection. A space where people come to release, reset, and remember their strength. Our goal? To create a visual library that captured not only their services, but the soul of their studio.
Together, we planned a 4-hour Video Magick session that would highlight:
Somatic movement and embodied instruction

The Setting: Clean Light, Raw Movement, Natural Elements
We filmed on-location at their studio in central Maine, a light-filled space grounded in warmth and clarity. Natural wood textures, soft morning light, and lush indoor tones gave us a palette that felt earthy, elevated, and totally aligned with their brand.
To match the energy of a real class, we captured authentic footage during:
A morning barre session (high energy, tight transitions)
A slow-flow yoga class (grounded, breath-led movement)
Breathwork + closing rituals (for an intimate, emotional close)
Every clip was filmed in 59.94fps and delivered in both real-time and slow motion for maximum versatility.
The Process: Somatic Direction + Storytelling on Set
As always with Video Magick, the process is more than technical: it’s energetic.
I offered gentle somatic cues to support each teacher’s presence on camera, because when you’re grounded in your body, the camera doesn’t feel intimidating. It feels like an extension of your message.
We moved between structured shots and intuitive captures, always staying open to the in-between moments that carried the most resonance: hands adjusting posture, sweat dripping from foreheads, the exhale after a long hold.
