Behind-the Session - Spiritual Retreat Photo + Video in Costa Rica
It’s always a deep honor to be trusted to capture magick on retreat. Regardless of what kind of retreat it is, participants are opening themselves and often letting themselves be vulnerable by making new friends, trying new things and exploring a new place.
The Come Alive Again retreat with Kate Moore in Cahuita, Costa Rica felt like an absolute dream because both the host and the participants allowed me to capture everything.
A transformative spiritual retreat, hosted in the jungles of Cahuita, Costa Rica, this experience took the participants deep. They spent the week being immersed in a variety of healing practices, supported by the amazing Goddess Garden location.
Kate commissioned to capture photo + video throughout the week, with the goal of having a mix of imagery and videos that she could use to promote and fill future retreats, as well as being able to provide the attendees with a gallery of memories from their time together. She also added on individual portrait sessions for each attendee, which meant we were able to cultivate an even deeper photo + video experience with incredible solo images in the stunning jungle of Costa Rica. go even deeper and capture some truly incredible images 1-on-1 with each person in the stunning jungles of Costa Rica.
Post-retreat, our final gallery included hundreds of high-quality, high-value photos and videos (including slow motion videos that always feels extra magickal) inside of a personalized online gallery portal and clip library. Kate has since used the images and videos to grow her social media following and fill several more spiritual retreats.
